Family Mediator and Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Family Mediator and Support Worker. This role involves working directly with children, young people, and families to promote their potential and prevent significant harm or the need for children to be looked after.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Holding a caseload of complex cases and providing tailored support to families.
  • Contributing to multi-agency assessments of children and families in need.
  • Facilitating family meetings to bring everyone together and help identify support networks.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 or an equivalent qualification in social care or a health-related subject.
  • English and Maths or an equivalent qualification at level 2 of the National Qualification Framework.
  • Demonstrable experience of working directly with children, young people, and families in a health or social care setting for at least 2 years.

This is a 37-hour-per-week position offering a competitive salary of £14.41 per hour and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
