Job Title: Sports Development Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sports Development Officer to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Sports Development Officer, you will be responsible for leading sports and activity sessions, providing opportunities for academic, social, and emotional progress, and offering guidance and mentoring to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sports and activity sessions to promote physical activity and teamwork
  • Provide opportunities for students to progress academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Offer guidance and mentoring to students with challenging behaviors and social/emotional difficulties
  • Develop and implement sports programs to promote physical activity and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a professional setting
  • Strong sports background and ability to lead sports sessions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students with challenging behaviors and social/emotional difficulties
