Job Title: Digital Skills Officer

Job Summary:

Oldham Council is seeking a skilled Digital Skills Officer to support the coordination and development of digital provision in Oldham. The successful candidate will work closely with the Get Oldham Working programme to deliver digital skills training to residents and support the coordination of digital provision across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map and research digital provision in Oldham and Greater Manchester to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote digital provision to residents and partners through various channels.
  • Evaluate the quality of digital provision and provide feedback to key partners and management.
  • Develop and deliver digital skills training to residents who face digital barriers to employment and skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering digital skills training in a group and/or one-to-one format.
  • Ability to research and evaluate digital provision and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and partnership working skills.
  • Ability to market digital provision to residents and partners.
