About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service and Sales Support Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our service business, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to our customers, ensuring the reliable operation and optimum performance of our heat transfer equipment.

Your primary focus will be on heat exchangers, and you will work closely with our Regional Account Managers to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities within our chosen sectors. You will be the face of our business, building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning, servicing, and fault-finding of new and existing equipment
  • Providing process and technical support to the department and customers
  • Meeting KPIs for the service team in areas such as submission of job reports and timesheets
  • Working alongside Regional Account Managers to develop sales strategies and identify opportunities
  • Managing customer relationships and identifying their relevant needs
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong working background in mechanical and electrical maintenance. You should have a good level of competence with respect to electronic equipment testing, fault finding, reading schematic diagrams, and using PLCs. Exposure to Alfa Laval core equipment would be advantageous.

You should be able to spend several nights away from home as required and have a good level of physical fitness. A full driving licence is also essential. The selected candidate will be located in the upper central belt of Scotland to best serve our customers at short notice.
