We are seeking a highly experienced Water Resources Modeller to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of projects from inception to handover, ensuring they adhere to scope, budget, timescale, quality and regulatory requirements.
With significant experience in hydraulic modelling, water resource modelling or optimisation modelling, you will bring advanced modelling concepts to real-world problems in recent relevant projects for WRMP24, regional planning or as part of the SRO gated process.
You will work collaboratively with water companies, regulators, design engineers, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects from inception to handover, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timescale, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Applying advanced modelling concepts to real-world problems in recent relevant projects.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for projects.
- Supporting the wider water resources team when required.
- Running commercial projects, bids and proposals on time within budget and quality constraints.
