Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits you at Thames Water, where we are seeking a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and updating wastewater network models to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain wastewater network models using modelling software.
  • Analyse and work on data sources to evaluate network performance and the impact of change at pipe and system levels.
  • Provide specialist advice and solutions in a significant modelling activity area to meet current and future demands.
  • Work closely with System Planners and other teams across the business to ensure efficient execution of modelling activities.
  • Plan and supervise asset and flow surveys and field investigations.
  • Provide technical support to the broader business as required.
  • Build and deliver reports on data and modelling.
Requirements
  • Hold a STEM-related degree.
  • Have knowledge of modelling software, preferably ICM software, to complete modelling tasks.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary paying between £40,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service.
