About the Role

We are seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer to join our Rivers and Coastal Management team in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing robust and creative advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in flood risk assessment, flood alleviation, and surface water drainage
  • Develop and deliver technical work, including hydrological and hydraulic analysis, flood risk reports, and drainage strategies
  • Work on multi-disciplinary projects, including flood risk assessment and surface water drainage
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions
Requirements
  • Experience in land development and planning policy in the UK
  • Strong working knowledge of producing 1D/2D Infoworks ICM hydraulic models, drainage network models, and using models to inform design
  • Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work across multiple complex projects
