Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager with Thames Water, you will be responsible for leading high-profile projects with significant investments in our water and wastewater networks. Your work will be critical to the success of our Capital Delivery program and Turnaround plan.

You will be accountable for the project programme, cost, and quality, and will lead a project team to achieve project objectives.

This includes establishing a project health and safety culture, working collaboratively with the external supply chain, and driving contractor performance.

You will also define solutions to meet project objectives, prepare a clear business case, and ensure effective liaison with relevant stakeholders.

Additionally, you will contribute to steering project-wide continuous improvement, deliver against stretching targets, and manage all contract matters to achieve the optimal outcome for Thames Water.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a demonstrable track record of delivering complex projects in the built environment, infrastructure, or utility industry.

You will also require an engineering or other relevant degree or qualification, as well as business or project management qualifications.

Strong analytical and risk-based decision-making skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
