Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and operations, to deliver projects.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and opportunities, ensuring timely and effective mitigation and resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including construction managers, engineers, and other support staff.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of project teams and stakeholders, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree qualification in construction management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, including MS Project, Primavera, and Asana.
  • Valid CSCS card and SMSTS training.
  • Knowledge of NEC Option C contracts and target cost.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety and CDM requirements.
