Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of facilities management services across our portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the performance of contractors and ensure that their work aligns with contractual requirements and sub-contractor specifications.
  • Deliver facilities management services in line with corporate strategies, ensuring operational and customer management services are efficient and effective.
  • Manage service delivery to agreed standards and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of escalation for operational support and identify and address issues with building fabric, M&E, and other facilities-related matters.
  • Manage capital and maintenance projects for our buildings, including budgeting and escalating issues to senior management as needed.
  • Monitor contractor performance, addressing and escalating performance issues as necessary, and comply with risk management strategies to manage risks to resolution.
  • Manage asset values, physical security requirements, and operational needs, including Health & Safety considerations.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in property management, maintenance, building management, or facilities management disciplines.
  • Experience in project management processes is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability in leading a customer-facing team and managing complex customer relationships.
  • Skills in asset management, maintenance, contract, and supplier management.
  • Experience managing multi-project programs of maintenance or capital investment.
