About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our client's team in Central Lancashire. As a Band 6 CPN Older Adult CMHT, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential NHS community mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as counseling and behavioral therapies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC
  • Proven experience within a community recovery role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Past experience in CMHT
