About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Estates Team at The Children's Trust, a leading charity for children with acquired brain injury. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and safety of all electrical systems and associated items on our 24-acre site in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional electrical maintenance to the estate, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations.
  • Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), quarterly RCD functionality checks, monthly emergency light tests, and an annual drop test on the estate's electrical systems.
  • Generate minor works and electrical installation certificates for completed tasks.
  • Participate in a 7-day shift rota and out-of-hours call-out to ensure 24/7 coverage of the estate.
Requirements
  • Qualification in inspection and testing, demonstrating proficiency in assessing electrical installations and systems.
  • Approved Electrician with an ECS Gold card, reflecting commitment to maintaining industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
