Bank Housekeeping Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of housekeeping services, ensuring excellent levels of cleanliness and adhering to infection control procedures across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas, ensuring daily tasks are completed according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow infection control procedures and ensure procedures are followed in the event of an outbreak.
- Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis, carrying out special requests related to housekeeping.
- Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment, and maintain sufficient stock levels, informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
- Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains, and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
- Report any repairs required to fixtures and fittings to the designated Facilities Helpdesk and inform the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are completed to agreed service levels.
- Prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
