The role of Data and Student Records Manager at Imperial College London involves overseeing the management of student records and data throughout the student journey, from pre-application to post-graduation. This includes developing and maintaining data and record management systems, as well as supporting digital teaching and learning tools across the undergraduate and postgraduate taught curricula.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a digital student records and administration system
  • Integrating departmental and central College records and systems into a single database
  • Supporting the Student Office in maintaining student records and preparing information for Exam Boards
  • Providing support and training to staff to ensure best practice in information management
  • Protecting information integrity and confidentiality
  • Documenting systems thoroughly to ensure long-term sustainability and resilience

Requirements for the role include:

  • A degree (or equivalent) or significant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience of computer programming, managing databases, and developing applications
  • Experience of managing confidential information and using virtual learning environments
  • High degree of computer literacy and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Sharepoint, and Microsoft PowerApps
