Production Team Manager

As a Production Team Manager at Travail Employment Group, you will be responsible for the hands-on management of a team of 10, ensuring day-to-day production targets are met and quality levels are maintained. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, ideally in a target-driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production workers to ensure production targets are met
  • Ensure work output meets the production schedule
  • Follow up scrap and rework
  • Ensure the right start of production, including startup check sheets and procedures
  • Ensure the continuous accomplishment of standards
  • Train new starters and agency staff
  • Assist in the implementation of improvements

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a team leader or line manager role
  • Knowledge of SOPs and working to targets
  • Ideally from a manufacturing or similar background
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques, such as 5's and Kaizen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quality-focused and a good problem-solver
