About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Midwife to join our team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Midwife Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women throughout their antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide professional clinical midwifery care to normal healthy women without referral to a medical practitioner.
  • Ensure referral to the appropriate health professional when deviations from the normal occur and work in partnership to ensure safe standards of care.
  • Participate in the on-call rota/night duty for community-based care.

Requirements

  • Nursing or Midwifery degree or equivalent.
  • Registered Midwife.
  • ENB 997/8 or equivalent or to achieve within 1 year.
