Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional Senior Mental Health Physician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to adults in the Norfolk West locality.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and a passion for delivering excellent patient care. We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 per annum, which includes a 'New Starter' package of £15,000 spread over 3 years as a retention bonus, a £12,000 relocation allowance, and a loyalty Scheme Bonus of £2,500 over the subsequent 5 years of service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. You will be responsible for providing Consultant input to and responsibility for the 16-bedded inpatient unit for the Norfolk West locality.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Entry on the GMC Register
  • Approved clinician status
  • Section 12(2) Approval under the Mental Health Act
  • Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST
  • 3 years or equivalent medical experience
  • 6 months experience in relevant clinical area
  • Evidence of knowledge of diagnosis, treatment + management of complex mental illness
