About the Role

Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their high-performing HR Operations Team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a new opportunity offering an immediate start and a contract duration of a minimum of 9 months.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a very busy team, providing HR advice and support to operational stakeholders, ensuring effective people solutions are developed and implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative HR thinking and solutions to assist divisions best manage HR-related matters.
  • Assist in the delivery of projects and support the development of a performance management culture by coaching managers in the implementation of the performance management process.
  • Support managers with investigations and coach and support managers in people-related issues, including disciplinary and grievance cases, dignity at work, and employee relations.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to Managers on legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure best practice employee relations.
  • Assist and support in the management of short and long-term absence.
  • Support managers with recruitment and prepare regular and ad-hoc management information reports.
  • Support continuous improvement in the management and monitoring of sickness absence, performance management, and HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in a business-related or HR discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR role, including handling employee relations within a unionized environment.
  • Sound understanding of employment legislation.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience of organizational change and culture.
  • Experience of managing and delivering HR projects.
  • Willingness to travel across all locations within Northern Ireland.
