Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to join our team at The Lost Estate as a Ticketing and Trade Sales Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive sales growth and develop key trade relationships in the high-end hospitality and events industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and revenue growth, with experience in driving trade, group, and corporate sales. They will be responsible for developing and implementing contracts with third-party and travel trade sellers, establishing and maintaining positive commercial relationships to increase revenue.

The Ticketing and Trade Sales Manager will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our ticketing and sales strategy, working closely with the Head of Sales and Customer Service and the Head of Marketing. They will be responsible for:

  • Proactively developing and implementing contracts with third-party and travel trade sellers
  • Targeting companies and organizations to increase group sales
  • Deputizing for the Head of Sales and Ticketing when required
  • Strategizing new ticketing opportunities and partnerships for The Lost Estate
  • Assisting in the management of guest retention and growth, including database management and complaint resolution
  • Compiling and distributing weekly sales reports
  • Completing venue and sales capacity management
  • Liaising between departments to support guest requests and changes
  • Managing all aspects of group and corporate bookings
  • Assisting with ticket system builds and staff scheduling

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hands-on approach to sales with experience of achieving targets
  • Current networks of commercial relationships
  • Skilled in monitoring finances for the development of concise reporting and sales projections
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across teams and with a variety of people internally and externally
  • Effective sales and relationship building skills
  • Managing processes including the configuration of events, installing updates, designing new reports, and fixing technical problems
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Commercial mindset
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and great problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to change and possess a willingness to embrace innovative ideas and new processes

Desirable qualifications include previous experience with marketing automation platforms and ticketing and database systems.
