About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ticketing and Trade Sales Manager to join our team at Michael Page Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our ticketing and sales strategy, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with our trade partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Proactively develop and implement contracts for third-party and travel trade sellers, establishing and maintaining positive commercial relationships to increase revenue.
  • Drive Group Sales: Proactively target companies and organizations to increase group sales, responsible for driving group sales direct to consumer and managing this process end-to-end.
  • Support Sales Leadership: Deputize when required for the Head of Sales and Ticketing.
  • Identify New Opportunities: Strategize new ticketing opportunities and partnerships, actively seeking out new revenue streams and identifying gaps in our current operation.
  • Manage Guest Experience: Assist in the management of guest retention and growth, including database management, super-fan growth, and complaint resolution.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile and distribute weekly sales reports, assisting with data tasks as required.
  • Capacity Management: Complete venue and sales capacity management.
  • Liaise with Departments: Liaise between departments to support guest requests and changes.
  • Group and Corporate Bookings: Manage all aspects of group and corporate bookings.
  • Ticket System Management: Assist with ticket system builds, including event builds, discount codes, and other tasks as required.
  • Staff Scheduling: Assist with staff scheduling when required.
  • Daily and Weekly Tasks: Assist with daily and weekly ticketing team tasks, including responding to queries over the phone and via email as required.
Requirements
  • Hands-on Sales Experience: A hands-on approach to sales with experience of achieving targets.
  • Commercial Relationships: Current networks of commercial relationships, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Financial Management: Skilled in monitoring finances for the development of concise reporting and sales projections.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to communicate and work effectively across teams and with a variety of people internally and externally.
  • Sales and Relationship Building: Effective sales and relationship building skills, with a commercial mindset.
  • Process Management: Managing processes, including the configuration of events, installing updates, designing new reports, fixing technical problems, and liaising with the system provider and other suppliers.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to perform well under pressure and great problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable to change and possess a willingness to embrace innovative ideas and new processes.
