Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Lakes Distillery. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen, motivating the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the creation and delivery of seasonal menus, including all-day and bespoke event menus.
- Manage stock processes, including stock levels and rotation, and assist with stock takes.
- Support the Head Chef in food hygiene, health & safety, and training policies and processes.
- Assist with the management of the kitchen team, including issuing rotas, managing leave, and completing timesheets.
- Maintain the kitchen in an immaculate condition, including reporting any equipment issues.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing people and processes.
- Experience in stock management processes.
- Ability to work as part of a wider business team and under own initiative.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
