To support the University's international student recruitment strategies and contribute to meeting institutional targets. Provide a high-quality service to students and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and implementing conversion activities to increase offers and registrations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for overseas agents, counsellors, and students, responding to enquiries and maintaining excellent customer-care skills.
- Collaborate with other Student Recruitment Coordinators to implement and deliver conversion activities across regions, utilizing online webinars, web chats, social media, and other tools.
- Raise Purchase Orders, track and maintain complex regional budgets, and reconcile commitments to expense.
- Process agent commission, liaising with overseas agents to ensure accuracy of claims and verifying student registrations before authorizing payment.
- Support the delivery of on and off-campus events, including recruitment fairs, agent symposiums, and high school counsellor events, through extensive logistical management.
- Maintain and create relevant recruitment databases, providing and manipulating data for presentation and reporting purposes.
- Ensure recruitment presentation templates are up-to-date and include current and relevant information.
- Meet visitors to campus and give standard presentations to a range of audiences, including potential students and their parents, schools, colleges, and other visiting groups.
- Travel overseas and in the UK to represent the University at education fairs and other recruitment events, providing information to prospective students, teachers, and parents.
- Update country-specific recruitment web pages on a regular basis.
- Liaise with administrative and academic colleagues at all levels within the University and provide cover for other administrative team members during absence.
Essential:
- A1 Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post, having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role.
- A2 Detailed knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable:
- B1 A second language.
