About the Role:

Our client, a specialist Rail & Construction subcontractor, is currently looking for an Administrator to join their Fleet & Training team. This role will support the operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including booking training courses and managing the internal fleet of vehicles.

Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring expiry dates for qualifications and booking training courses to renew certification.
  2. Supporting the internal Fleet team by booking MOT's / Repairs / Services.
  3. Logging HGV requirements and use on a weekly basis, monitoring vehicles trackers to match health and safety requirements.
  4. Assisting the commercial team with supplier invoice queries, through day-to-day data collected.
  5. Updating systems to log and update required day-to-day evidence for the commercial / operations teams.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Previous experience in a similar admin role, with or without experience booking training or managing fleet.
  2. Experience working with Project Management teams, comfortable speaking with operations and commercial staff.
  3. Methodical and organised, with clear communication skills and basic commercial skills.
  4. Experience working in a busy environment like Construction, Rail or Civil Engineering is preferred but not essential.
