Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our team in Worcester. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support existing customers and develop new sales opportunities for high-pressure industrial solutions, water jetting products, and accessories.
  • Focus on winning profitable orders and growing market share in sectors like petrochemical, nuclear, construction, and energy transition.
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with a large customer base, promoting new product offerings to maximise sales.
  • Research potential customers, introduce them to the product range, and explore new sales opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct product trials and demonstrations (training provided).
  • Assist internal sales with preparing quotes and equipment costings when needed.
  • Liaise with customers during and after order processing.
  • Keep customer and sales records up-to-date using CRM software.
  • Report regularly on sales activities and future plans.
  • Support the sales team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and strategies.
  • Actively promote company sales and marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of high-pressure pumps or high-pressure jetting.
  • Previous capital equipment sales experience.
  • Commercially competent.
  • Great negotiation skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
