Payroll Services Manager

Establish a payroll services department as a key member of the financial team at Protalent. The successful candidate will drive business forward by planning, directing and controlling all aspects of payroll services.

The role encompasses creation of monthly and year-end reports, ensuring a smooth running of payroll processes for the company. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, direct and control payroll services to meet employee compensation needs
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations across local and national payroll processes
  • Develop effective payroll policies and procedures
  • Calculate and process payments accurately for employees
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Provide support in resolving employee queries

The ideal candidate will have experience working in payroll management, particularly in senior roles. They must also possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be comfortable with payroll software solutions and demonstrate good computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary around £55,000 per annum, as well as a pension scheme and a collaborative working environment with like-minded professionals who share their passion for payroll.
