Job Title: Payroll Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Manager to join our team at CMA Recruitment Group.

Job Description:

This role will involve supporting various payrolls across multiple sites nationwide, based at Head Office in Southampton.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the collection and entry of data within the payroll system for new starters and leavers;
  2. Co-ordinate the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls;
  3. Liaise with site managers to resolve issues within a bespoke rostering system;
  4. Work closely with the Payroll Manager on various projects;
  5. Handle inbound calls related to payroll inquiries;
  6. Respond to HMRC queries;
  7. Process emails and documents;
  8. Carry out manual calculations for pay and annual leave.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in payroll operations with a deep understanding of statutory payments and manual calculations;
  • Proficiency in Sage 50 software;
  • Familiarity with high-volume payrolls;
  • Presentation skills for communicating complex information effectively;
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing payroll data and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
