Teaching Assistant for Children with Special Needs

Folkestone Girls is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for inclusive education and have experience in working with students with autism and other special educational needs.
About the Role- Develop close relationships with students requiring additional support to ensure they feel valued and supported.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with teaching staff and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances within the school setting.
- Experience in implementing tailored learning strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Equivalent national qualification to NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or SEND practice is desired.
- Proven track record of supporting pupils with autism and other special educational needs.
- Flexible and proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration.
- Competitive salary range of £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (pro-rata) based on experience and qualifications.
