Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Carer to provide exceptional care and support to our customers in East Dunbartonshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, reviewing and updating Support Plans, and leading by example. They will also support the planning and review of staff rotas to ensure appropriate cover for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in social care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a high-performing team. They will be passionate about delivering the best experience of care for our customers and committed to supporting the council's vision.

The salary for this role is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to customers in East Dunbartonshire
  • Review and update Support Plans to meet individual customer needs and desired outcomes
  • Lead by example and provide guidance and support to the care team
  • Support the planning and review of staff rotas to ensure appropriate cover for customers
