About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Emergency Department Leader to join our team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for leading the team and coordinating the flow of patients through the Paediatric Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and coordinate the flow of patients through the Paediatric Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 1st Level Registered Paediatric Nurse
  • Paediatric Advanced Life Support Skills
  • Teaching / assessing Qualification
  • Manchester Triage Skill/inital and secondary assessment experience
  • Significant Emergency Dept paediatric experience
