Job Title: Nights Guest Service Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and welcoming Guest Service Assistant to join our team at ibis Styles Barnsley. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check guests in and out at Reception, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Answer questions and provide support to guests during their stay
  • Supervise, motivate, and lead colleagues on shift, ensuring a positive and productive team environment
  • Work independently, taking responsibility for tasks and duties as required
  • Use computer systems to run reports and perform administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the overall success of the hotel by assisting with various tasks and duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Ability to work nights, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
