About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estate Services Officer to join our Estates team at The Guinness Partnership. As an Estate Services Officer, you will be responsible for managing a team of gardeners and cleaners across multiple housing schemes in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of gardeners and cleaners to deliver and maintain an excellent level of cleaning, gardening, and grounds services.
  • Facilitate and schedule the estates services, ensuring work is delivered in line with agreed budgets and in compliance with health and safety, COSHH, and PPE legislation.
  • Liaise with customers on site to identify service improvements, report repairs, fly tipping, graffiti, and safeguarding alerts, and monitor the stock and supply of allocated equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong track record of leading a team to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Experience of managing remote working teams and staff members, including strong performance management skills.
  • Track record of working to agreed standards, specifications, and timescales.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality estate services, including grounds maintenance, gardening, and compliance activities.
  • Direct experience of working with customers and customer feedback in a service delivery environment.
  • Understanding and knowledge of compliance processes and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Experience of budget management, cost control, and stock management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A good level of IT knowledge, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Able to demonstrate Guinness behaviours.
  • Hold a current full UK driving license.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of delivering services, taking into account health and safety legislation and compliance processes.
  • Understanding of the workings of service charges.
  • Understanding of how to use mobile working devices, such as smartphones or tablets.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Horticulture NVQ, BTEC, or relevant professional qualification.
  • Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Certification.
