Your Role

We are seeking a skilled Solicitor or Legal Executive to become a vital part of our Wills & Probate division. This position focuses on estate planning and will be based from our Sheffield office with a flexible working arrangement.

The successful applicant will join our esteemed Partner's team, specializing in estate planning. Our mission is to safeguard our clients' wealth for themselves and their families. By implementing tax-efficient strategies, we ensure that our clients' assets are well-structured for future generations. Our comprehensive legal and tax services empower clients to effectively plan for their future, particularly in managing complex estates that may involve international considerations.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of essential services, including:

  • Providing expert advice on, drafting, and executing wills;
  • Establishing and managing trusts to oversee financial assets, property, or investments for designated beneficiaries;
  • Offering guidance on investment strategies and wealth-holding frameworks;
  • Facilitating succession planning to ensure the continuity of our clients' businesses.

About You

We are looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive who possesses a genuine enthusiasm for estate planning and has demonstrable experience in handling intricate estates or working with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualities:

  • Proficiency in taking client instructions and delivering sound legal counsel;
  • Experience in managing high-value, complex cases;
  • Ability to handle individual caseloads while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and providing seamless service;
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients;
  • Solid technical expertise in estate planning, particularly in wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts;
  • A strong inclination towards business development and a commitment to fostering robust client and referrer relationships, alongside a desire to contribute to the growth of the wider team.
