We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our Partnership, Wills & Probate team at Irwin Mitchell. The successful candidate will be working with our Partner Anne McCann's team, specifically our estate planning division, to ensure our clients' wealth is protected for them and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Advising clients on wills, trusts, and estate planning;
- Drafting and executing wills, setting up and administering trusts to manage money, property, or investments for specific people or purposes;
- Advising on investments and wealth-holding structures and succession planning for the future;
- Managing own caseloads while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service;
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients;
- Developing and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships;
- Contributing to the growth and development of the wider team.
- Proven experience working on complex estates or with high net worth individuals;
- Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice;
- Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases;
- Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team;
- Demonstratable technical experience gained within estate planning, specifically across wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts;
- Aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationships.
