Job Title: Children's Residential Care Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Home Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Register a new home with OFSTED and work towards obtaining a 'good' or above rating
* Work with HR to recruit and develop a new team for the home
* Plan and deliver quality support to young people
* Establish and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
* Develop and manage an efficient team of staff
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
* Manage resources effectively and report concerns as needed

Requirements:

* Experience as an acting Home Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's home
* Two years' recent experience in children's/young people's residential care
* Proficiency in working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and a strong grasp of therapeutic strategies
* Sound knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or actively pursuing this qualification
* Full manual driver's licence
