Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £62,556 per annum

Location: Birmingham

Working Arrangements: Hybrid

Reports: 4 – Infrastructure and Application Solutions Analysts

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology Solutions to join our team at La Fosse. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions that meet the needs of our charity supporting people with complex disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Own the technical platforms and architecture for the technology estate, with a particular focus on the application and user experience.
  • Project Management: Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition.
  • Technical Roadmap: Establish and deliver technical roadmaps for all platforms.
  • DevOps: Establish a DevOps approach and CICD pipeline for key applications services.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Heads of Data Management and Service Delivery (Technology) to scope, plan, monitor, and deliver projects successfully, within budget and on time.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire the Technology Solutions team, including carrying out relevant people management tasks such as recruitment, annual appraisals, and motivating performance.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage suppliers in a multi-supplier environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in a Head of Technology Solutions or similar senior role, ideally in a charity or social care environment.
  • Technical Expertise: A thorough knowledge of technology solutions, including Applications, Platforms, Cyber Security, Cloud, and Integration.
  • Project Management: Project and Programme Management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with teams of varying technical abilities.
  • Cyber Security: Knowledge of Cyber Security principles.
  • IT Architecture: Knowledge of IT architecture, including developing architecture models using TOGAF or equivalent methodology.
