Job Summary

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to support the Global Head of Investment Banking Engineering and the head of the Birmingham Office. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world leader in developing quantitative and technological solutions to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning: Work with multiple groups across the organization to deliver high-end management reporting, including data and KPI tracking, and analyze financial data and trends.
  2. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Drive communication and cascades within the division and across the office, and tailor materials and reporting for use with senior firm, engineering, and business leadership.
  3. Business Management: Assist with business management, including headcount and expense trends, and projections.
  4. Talent Management: Partner with Human Capital Management for talent management initiatives, including recruiting, training, and other annual processes across locations.
  5. Operational Management: Closely manage office-wide operating activities and initiatives in collaboration with all divisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Good quantitative skillset
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts visually
  • Ability to convey multifaceted ideas in clear and concise written language
  • Strong project management skills to drive/coordinate firmwide initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, evaluate, and form independent judgments
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and expansive networks internally and externally
