We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology Solutions to join our team at La Fosse, a charity supporting people with complex disabilities. Our organization is undergoing a period of transformation, and we need a skilled professional to design and deliver technology solutions that will empower our clients to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and experience in leading teams. They will be responsible for owning the technical platforms and architecture for our technology estate, with a focus on application and user experience. They will also manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, collaborate with other teams, and develop effective working relationships with senior managers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Own the technical platforms and architecture for the technology estate, with a focus on application and user experience.
  • Manage technical delivery for business-driven projects, from solution design to service transition.
  • Collaborate with the Heads of Data Management and Service Delivery (Technology) to scope, plan, monitor, and deliver projects successfully, within budget and on time.
  • Develop effective working relationships with senior managers to translate strategic priorities into practical projects and programs.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the Technology Solutions team, including carrying out people management tasks such as recruitment, annual appraisals, and motivating performance.
  • Support internal projects across the organization that impact or involve the team.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in a Head of Technology Solutions or similar senior role, ideally in a charity or social care environment.
  • Experience of delivering technology solutions through suppliers, including defining requirements, evaluating and selecting solutions, and managing delivery and acceptance from a technical perspective.
  • Project and Programme Management skills, capable of working on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • A thorough knowledge of technology solutions, including applications, platforms, cyber security, cloud, and integration.
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery from concept to in-service.
  • Knowledge of cyber security principles.
  • Knowledge of IT architecture, including developing architecture models using TOGAF or equivalent methodology.
  • Knowledge of Project and Programme Management tools and techniques, for example Agile (all variants) or PRINCE2.
  • A demonstrable commitment to enabling an inclusive and diverse workforce to reflect the organization's culture and community.
