About the Role

As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery. You will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in achieving targets and promoting a culture of excellence. Your expertise and experience will inspire and motivate a large team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold an early years qualification at level three or above and have demonstrable experience of working in a leadership role in a nursery setting
  • Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and statutory requirements
  • Inspire and motivate a large team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children through role-modelling, mentoring, coaching, supervision and effective performance management
  • Support the Nursery Manager to meet targets relating to occupancy, revenue and staff retention
  • Resume overall responsibility for the nursery in the manager's absence
  • Uphold exemplary levels of customer care and promote the company values at all times
