We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Hungry Caterpillar Day Nurseries ltd. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and education to our children, while also supporting the development of our staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management of the nursery, including staff supervision, child care, and administrative tasks.
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of our children, aligned with the Curiosity Approach and the Natural World.
- Collaborate with the staff team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of our children.
- Participate in staff training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)
- English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2
- Previous experience of working at Deputy Manager or Room Leader level within a nursery
- A team player with the ability to be flexible to the needs of the children and the team.
