Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker at Esland Care. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young people, enabling them to achieve amazing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing and therapeutic support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of engaging and meaningful activities, promoting socialization, education, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and stable environment, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
- Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion).
- Full driving license issued in the UK.
- Keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA, etc.).
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
- Aged 21 or above.
