About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker at Esland. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of childcare expertise and a passion for providing outstanding support to young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to young people in a therapeutic and nurturing environment
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and stable environment for all young people
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)
  • A Full driving licence issued in the UK
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice
  • Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)
