About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of engaging and therapeutic activities, promoting social skills, emotional regulation, and educational development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care, maintaining open communication and a culture of respect.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare, or be close to completion, with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and expectations.
  • A full driving license issued in the UK, with a keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions, and be aged 21 or above.
  • In-depth knowledge of de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention techniques, such as Team Teach or MAPA.
  • Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic and person-centered approach to childcare.
