About the Role

iQ Student Accommodation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our student accommodation sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our sites, focusing on efficiency, safety, and profitability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to make a real impact on our students' experience. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and leading your team, ensuring site compliance with health and safety standards, and developing and maintaining relationships with universities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Coach, develop, and motivate your team to drive performance and achieve goals.
  • People Planning: Implement a proactive and strategic approach to people planning, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Promote resident satisfaction and retention by actively attracting positive reviews and addressing any complaints or service issues.
  • Leasing Performance: Be accountable for leasing performance in your cluster, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Financial Management: Conduct monthly financial performance reviews for each site, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Resident Welfare: Ensure resident welfare and offer support services where appropriate, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Compliance: Manage and monitor compliance with health and safety standards, ensuring all sites meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintenance: Schedule planned maintenance and report processes, ensuring all sites are well-maintained and running efficiently.
