Job Summary:
The Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead the Divisional Medical Director role in the ONW Division. This is a strategic position that requires a strong background in the delivery of out-of-hospital and public health services, as well as a deep understanding of the relationships between different components of the health and social care system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Division, in partnership with the Divisional Director of Operations, to ensure the achievement of the Division's goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the Trust's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the Division's plans and objectives.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure the effective delivery of patient care, teaching, and research within the Division, through the implementation of appropriate systems and processes.
- Represent the Division at operational interfaces, providing clinical expertise and governance as required.
- Corporate and Clinical Governance:
- Integrate operational management with the clinical governance agenda, participating in Clinical Governance committees and the Divisional Management Board.
- Ensure Divisional compliance with national requirements, including Care Quality Commission Registration.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Collaborate with senior divisional teams, including the Divisional Director of Operations and Divisional Director of Nursing and Therapy, to achieve Divisional goals and objectives.
- Service Development:
- Develop and implement service developments around out-of-hospital care, in close collaboration with senior divisional teams.
- Contribute to the development of clinical governance systems and high-quality clinical practice within the Trust, in partnership with the Medical Director, Nursing, and Quality teams.
Requirements:
- Strong background in the delivery of out-of-hospital and public health services.
- Deep understanding of the relationships between different components of the health and social care system.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior divisional teams and other stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the Division's goals and objectives.
