Area Sales Manager - Home/Field Based
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our thriving foodservice business in Portsmouth. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for winning and maximising business opportunities within the Portsmouth and Hampshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify sales opportunities in your designated area, promoting and developing new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings, understanding customer needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Onboard new customers effectively and work closely with our distribution centre and drivers to create a strong team working ethos.
- Deliver profitable volume growth and hit targets by monitoring competitor and independent market activity.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with a passion for sales, ideally with a background in field sales or account management. You should be commercially astute, technically proficient in Excel, and able to build and maintain relationships. A food background is not essential, but a willingness to learn and grow with our business is.
