Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our thriving foodservice business in Portsmouth. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our independent customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your designated area, leveraging your knowledge of the local market and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with our distribution centre and drivers to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the competition and provide valuable insights to our customers.
  • Deliver profitable volume growth and meet or exceed sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in field sales or account management, with a strong understanding of the foodservice industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Commercial acumen and technical proficiency in Excel, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for sales and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
