Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at Brakes. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the Portsmouth and Hampshire area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new sales opportunities in your designated territory, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Onboard new customers effectively and ensure close working relationships with existing accounts, recording all interactions on our CRM system.
  • Work closely with our distribution center and drivers to create a strong team working ethos.
  • Deliver profitable volume growth and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor competitor and independent market activity in your area, and provide insights to ensure you are offering our customers the best solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who has a proven track record of success in a field sales or account management role. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You will also have a passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
