We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our thriving foodservice business in Portsmouth. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our independent customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your designated area, leveraging your expertise to develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with our distribution centre and drivers to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and achieve profitable volume growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the competition and provide valuable insights to our customers.
  • Collaborate with our salesforce to share best practices and drive sales excellence across the region.

Requirements:

  • Food industry experience is a plus, but not essential.
