Youth Services Manager - Forward Leeds

Role Summary
Humankind is seeking a dedicated Youth Services Manager to lead our Forward Leeds initiative, focusing on young individuals facing challenges related to substance use. You will manage a passionate team of around 14 professionals committed to empowering youth across the region.

This service caters to individuals up to 18 years old, along with providing assistance and treatment for young adults dealing with substance-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
As the Youth Services Manager, your role will involve fostering a supportive environment for young people, ensuring they receive the necessary interventions for their growth and development. Building strong partnerships with various community organizations will be essential to enhance the support network for these young individuals.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate who is deeply committed to helping young people realize their potential and understands the transformative power of effective substance use interventions. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in services that support youth or adult populations.
  • Knowledge of substance use support services.
  • Proven track record in developing innovative service pathways and partnerships.
  • A recognized management qualification, such as Level 5 in Management/Leadership, or equivalent experience.
