Youth Services Manager - Young People's Division


Position Summary
Humankind is seeking a dedicated Youth Services Manager to lead our Young People's Division. This role involves managing a passionate and diverse team of approximately 14 professionals who provide essential support to young individuals in the community facing challenges related to substance use. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering the development of this team, guiding them towards both personal growth and professional success.

The division offers assistance to youth up to the age of 18, along with support and treatment for young adults dealing with substance-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
As the Youth Services Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to empowering young people to achieve their potential, while recognizing the significant role that effective interventions can play in transforming lives. You will need to cultivate robust partnerships with a variety of community stakeholders to enhance the support available to young individuals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in services that cater to children, young people, or adults.
  • Familiarity with programs that address substance use and related challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to create new service pathways and build collaborative relationships.
  • A recognized management qualification (e.g., Level 5 in Management/Leadership) or equivalent experience.
